Um ano! Faz hoje um ano que este blog nasceu! Surgiu como uma espécie de desafio a mim mesmo. Um lado de mim que estava muito fechado, por descobrir. Quem diria que começou assim! Obrigado a todos os que visitaram, comentaram, 'linkaram', apoiaram, incentivaram, divulgaram, e tudo o resto que me ajudou a que este cantinho, a minha toca, seja o que é hoje. Continuarei a crescer...

One year! Today I celebrate one year since this blog was born! It came as a challenge to myself. One side of me that was too closed, uncharted. Who knew it started like this! Thank you all that visited, commented linked, supported, encouraged, spreaded, and all the things that helped this little corner, my lair, achieved what it is today. I'll keep growing...

Ao fim de alguns anos a cortar, depilar, etc... lá se foram os caracolinhos todos! Agora nascem assim, esticadinhos. E ao fim de umas semanas sem fazer "nada", o tufo é este...

After a few years of trimming, waxing, etc... I've lost all the curly pubes! Now they grow like this, straight. And after a few weeks without doing "nothing", the bush looks like this...

É verdade que a areia mete-se e cola-se em todo o lado... mas sabe tão bem andar assim na praia!

Não é por falta de "material", mas decidi submeter uma versão diferente duma foto que já mostrei anteriormente (Veia III). Neste caso mostro a foto como ela realmente foi tirada, enquanto que na outra era apenas um pormenor da veia e textura da pele.

I keep being surprised with what's considered the largest organ in the human body.

Its not that I'm lacking material, but I've decided to submit a different version of a previous post (Veia III). In this case, it's the original photo, while the other one was just a detail of the vein and skin texture.

Goose bumps

"Pele-de-galinha" é um reflexo da nossa pele causado pela erecção passageira dos folículos pilosos devido à contracção das suas fibras musculares lisas, sob o efeito de um estado emotivo ou do frio. No meu caso, adoro ficar assim quando ouço música.

"Goose bumps", are the bumps on a person's skin at the base of body hairs which may involuntarily develop when a person is cold or experiences strong emotions such as fear or awe. In my case, I love when it happens when I'm listening to music.
